Job summary

Jobgether SRL in Canada is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer - Marketing Data to join a data-driven team focused on transforming marketing data into actionable insights. You will design scalable data models in Snowflake and work with Google Analytics data, SQL, and Python to deliver reliable data solutions.

Collaborating with business stakeholders, you will translate requirements into clear technical specifications, ensure data quality across pipelines, and contribute to robust engineering

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, marketing data, or a closely related field.
• Hands-on experience working with Google Analytics data in production environments.
• Experience supporting data initiatives within retail or e-commerce.
• Advanced SQL skills for designing fit-for-purpose Snowflake data models.
• Proficiency in Python for data tooling and transformations.
• Experience interpreting API documentation and mapping API endpoints to business/technical requirements.
• Practical experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong data quality and validation practices across pipelines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and English communication.
• Proactive, analytical mindset and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake data models, transformations, and materializations for marketing analytics.
• Work directly with Google Analytics data in production to ensure structured, analysis-ready data.
• Develop, review, and optimize SQL queries and Python code for reliability and performance.
• Translate API endpoints and identifiers into practical data integration solutions.
• Implement data validation across data pipelines to ensure integrity.
• Apply Git-based development workflows including reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specs.
• Identify opportunities to improve data models and pipeline reliability.
