Job summary
Ledcor is seeking an experienced Utility Operator for a major civil earthworks project in remote Northern Saskatchewan. You will operate various heavy equipment to support site development, mass excavation, grading, and pad construction, with GPS-grade control experience a plus.
The ideal candidate will be safe, productive, and versatile with 3+ years of heavy equipment experience, read site plans, and work well with supervisors and survey teams.
Qualifications
- 3+ years operating multiple heavy equipment in construction/mining/earthworks.
- Valid driver's license and 3 years driving abstract
- CSTS-2020 Fundamentals and Ground Disturbance Level 2 certifications
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment per project requirements and Ledcor safety standards.
- Perform excavation, grading, loading, and earthmoving activities.
- Operate excavators, dozers, graders, and loaders as specified.
- Complete pre-trip inspections and daily equipment reports.
- Coordinate with supervisors and survey teams to meet production targets.
- Maintain awareness of construction hazards and site requirements.
