Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Utility Operator for a remote Northern Saskatchewan earthworks project.

You will operate excavators, dozers, graders and loaders to support site development, mass excavation, and pad construction, with GPS and grade control experience considered an asset. 14 days on / 7 days off, camp accommodation provided, travel/flight support, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience operating multiple heavy equipment on construction sites.
• Proven operation on excavators, dozers, graders or loaders.
• Ability to read site plans, grade stakes and layouts.
• GPS machine control experience preferred; grade control an asset.
• Strong safety focus and teamwork; valid driver’s license; clean abstract.
• CSTS-2020 Fundamentals ticket; Ground Disturbance Level 2; pre-access drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment per project requirements and safety standards.
• Perform excavation, grading, loading and earthmoving tasks.
• Operate excavators (25T/35T/60T), dozers, graders and loaders as directed.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and create daily equipment reports.
• Coordinate with supervisors and survey teams to meet targets.
• Maintain awareness of hazards and follow site policies.
