Job summary

Ledcor Pipeline in Northern Saskatchewan is seeking an experienced Earthworks Foreperson to lead crews of Equipment Operators and Labourers on a remote civil earthworks project. You will supervise day-to-day operations, plan work, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule targets are met.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy civil construction with supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a valid Class 5 license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy civil construction or large-scale projects.
• Previous supervisory/foreperson experience leading crews.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.
• CSTS 2020 Fundamentals certification.
• Ground Disturbance Level II certification.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Pre-access drug and alcohol testing required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews of Equipment Operators and Labourers.
• Coordinate daily activities to meet production, quality and schedule targets.
• Plan labour, equipment, and resources for efficiency.
• Communicate priorities and safety expectations to crew.
• Monitor progress and ensure work complies with plans and grades.
• Promote Ledcor safety culture and procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and site hazard assessments.
• Resolve operational issues while maintaining productivity and quality.
• Complete daily reports and production tracking.
• Mentor crew members through coaching and leadership.
