Job summary

Salytics Inc. seeks a Salesforce Developer contractor to design, build, and deploy tailored Salesforce solutions for diverse clients. The role blends technical development with consulting, offering remote work with optional in-office days near Toronto.

You’ll collaborate with clients to understand goals, write specifications, implement integrations, and train users. The position runs October through December with full-time hours, and workload adjustments as projects evolve.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows).
• 2+ years Salesforce administration experience.
• Experience with Sales, Service, Experience, and/or Nonprofit Cloud.
• Salesforce Platform Developer and Platform Administrator certifications.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, architecture, and data models.
• Front-end web development skills (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
• Back-end development skills (Java, C#, PHP, Python or Node.js).
• Proactive issue identification and superb problem resolution skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver tailored Salesforce solutions for clients.
• Balance development work with Salesforce consulting duties.
• Communicate with clients via email, chat, and calls.
• Write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
• Implement solutions including integrations and custom development.
• Adhere to platform best practices and improve existing code.
• Conduct comprehensive testing for stability and function.
• Maintain code documentation and write test classes.
• Deliver technical training to clients.
• Monitor release cycles and apply updates.
• Other duties as assigned.
