Job summary

CGL is seeking a Systems Developer - Salesforce for a 10-month temporary full-time role with a hybrid work model (2 days in office). The candidate will translate requirements into working plans, write scalable code, and support testing and deployment across systems, with strong collaboration with IT partners.

Requirements include five years of Salesforce development experience, OmniStudio/ServiceNow/JIRA/Confluence familiarity, Salesforce certifications, and a degree in IT/CS or related field.

Qualifications

• Five years of Salesforce development experience; Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is an asset.
• Experience with OmniStudio, ServiceNow, JIRA and Confluence.
• Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline; familiarity with Salesforce integrations is an asset.
• Knowledge of Agile practices, Test Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into a cohesive working plan in accordance with guidelines and standards.
• Write code to implement functionalities and features of small to medium complexity.
• Create an implementation and back-out plan for a single system.
• Perform unit testing for developed code, supporting system and user acceptance testing, and resolving defects by troubleshooting root causes.
• Foster productive relationships with IT business partners and communicating analysis and results accordingly.
