Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to act as the primary technical interface for customers in Canada. You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to translate requirements into tailored technical solutions and to drive business growth from pre-sales to post-sales stages.

The role requires deep telecom and networking knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across global operations.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, Field Applications Engineering, or Technical Sales.
• Experience supporting customers in the telecommunications or networking industry.
• Deep technical understanding of telecom segments RAN, cloud RAN, fixed and optical networks, IP routing, CPUs, ASICs, GPUs, AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface between Intel and customer.
• Develop customized technical solutions and deliver presentations and proposals.
• Evaluate customer specs and coordinate with engineering for feasibility.
• Support RFQs, documentation, and product qualification activities.
• Maintain customer relationships and drive design wins.
