Job summary

Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of British Columbia (NNPBC) is seeking a Nursing Practice Success Consultant to provide provincial oversight for the Nurse Initiatives for Primary Care (NIPC). This RN will help formalize team structure and strengthen accountability for program outcomes while supporting practice change in community-based primary care across BC.

The role requires 4–6 years of primary care nursing experience, strong collaboration skills, and ongoing clinical practice outside the NIPC

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; RN with current registration in good standing.
  • Master’s degree in nursing, education, or relevant field is an asset.
  • Recent training in cultural safety, cultural humility, and Indigenous‑specific anti‑racism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on, shoulder-to-shoulder support to RNs and LPNs in primary care settings to strengthen clinical practice and team integration.
  • Deliver coaching, consultation, mentorship, and onboarding support to nurses in community-based primary care.
  • Support nurses and clinics with practice workflows, chronic disease management, care coordination, and team-based care approaches.
  • Identify practice gaps and collaborate to develop practical solutions, tools, and resources.
