Job summary

Interior Health is seeking a dynamic Permanent Full Time Nurse Practitioner to join the Lillooet/Lytton Collaborative Care Model, delivering comprehensive primary and urgent care to rural communities in British Columbia.

The NP will work with an interdisciplinary team, offering full-scope, culturally safe care across a flexible rural model, including in-person, virtual, and outreach services. Applicants may serve as MRP for an attached patient panel and contribute to ongoing care transitions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) required.
• Current NP certification with BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
• Previous clinical experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose conditions within NP scope.
• Provide full-scope NP care in primary and urgent settings.
• Prescribe medications within regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other teams.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff and learners.
• Support community outreach in rural areas.
