Job summary

Kortext is seeking a Development Team Lead to guide the design, development and delivery of automation and integrations across enterprise platforms, including Salesforce and SAP. This fully remote role operates in a hybrid Agile and Waterfall environment and reports to the Manager of Solution Engineering.

As a senior technical expert and Python developer, you will mentor engineers, champion AI-first practices, and drive improvements in development processes, testing and security.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of development teams delivering automation and integration projects.
• Expert Python developer with experience across enterprise platforms.
• Experience architecting integrations with Salesforce and SAP.
• Comfortable in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments and strategic planning.
• Promotes AI-first development practices and safe AI usage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and implementation of automation and integrations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and trainees.
• Support architectural design of applications and services.
• Design, build and support integrations between Salesforce, SAP, and internal systems.
• Gather requirements, define use cases and user stories.
• Contribute to sprint planning, roadmaps and delivery.
• Establish Python development standards and coding practices.
• Develop high-quality Python-based applications and services.
• Drive AI-assisted development and AI tooling adoption.
• Set guidelines for safe AI use including code review and testing.
• Design and implement automated tests and monitoring.
• Support UAT and collaborate with end users.
• Ensure monitoring, performance and operational support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for reliable solutions.
• Promote modern development tools and evaluate new capabilities.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation.
