Nova Mutual in Ontario seeks a Senior Product and Pricing Analyst to develop, maintain, and enhance insurance products and pricing initiatives. You will combine business analysis, insurance knowledge, and data-driven insights to assess performance and drive improvements from discovery through testing and implementation.

You will collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, IT, and stakeholders to ensure pricing and coverage meet business needs while supporting strategic priorities.

Competenze

• Minimum 7 years of cumulative experience across Business Analysis and/or Underwriting.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements, supporting testing, and coordinating implementation activities.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends, including AI, is an asset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to translate complex information into clear guidance.
• Proactive, self-directed approach with strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Personal integrity and collaborative mindset; commitment to responsive service.

• Review product performance, coverage offerings, and pricing data to identify issues and opportunities.
• Support development and enhancement of insurance products, documenting changes and recommending solutions.
• Lead discovery and requirements documentation for projects, clarifying business needs with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, IT, and other teams to support changes and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors on project requirements, pricing changes, and maintenance.
• Lead smaller projects and contribute to broader initiatives with clear scope and priorities.
• Participate in testing and review results to ensure changes meet requirements.
• Support implementation and post-launch activities, including minor fixes and updates.
• Maintain accurate product wordings and change histories for brokers and internal teams.
• Provide progress updates and support governance, audit, and reporting requirements.
