Job summary

Echelon Insurance seeks a Product Analyst/Manager to collaborate with stakeholders on developing and improving insurance products across personal and commercial lines in Canada. You will help shape product wording, materials, distribution channels and marketing plans while leading small projects and tracking schedules.

Responsibilities include gathering market intelligence, acting as SME for insurance products, and creating roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a quantitative field or Insurance.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills with experience in Excel, Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of P&C insurance and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement and improve insurance products.
• Contribute to product wording, materials, distribution channels and marketing plans.
• Act as project lead for small projects and monitor activities to meet schedules.
• Gather and maintain competitive and market intelligence materials.
• Serve as SME for Insurance products and provide key contact for business units.
• Analyze industry trends related to Insurance products and services.
• Identify target markets and opportunities for marketing and product initiatives.
• Create product roadmaps and assist end-to-end implementation of approved initiatives.
• Present information to business units, insurers and management.
• Identify opportunities to raise awareness of products/services at industry events.
• Maintain product information on intranet, internet and broker portal.
• Provide support to members using Echelon products and tools across lines of business.
• Monitor sales, marketing and product health and report results to stakeholders.
• Maintain reports, dashboards and financial reports.
• Provide underwriting direction and interpretation as needed.
• Support training materials for home office and external partners.
• Coordinate with vendors providing Echelon products and tools.
