Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Buyer to manage purchasing from home. You will source suppliers, negotiate prices, issue POs, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining records and vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of purchasing experience, strong negotiation and organizational skills, and familiarity with procurement software and MS Office. This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or buying.
• Solid understanding of procurement principles and supply chain operations.
• Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, suited for remote interaction.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
• Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Track orders, monitor delivery times, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Research market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities.
