Placements24 is seeking a strategic and experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to lead our operations in a fully remote capacity. This senior role designs and manages end-to-end supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, cut costs, and ensure timely delivery.
You will drive procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution, using data analytics and innovative solutions. Leadership of a remote team and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success in this executive
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Proven ability to lead remote teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of global logistics, transportation, warehousing and inventory management.
- Proficiency with supply chain planning software and data analytics tools.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics and supply chain strategies.
- Oversee demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Negotiate contracts with carriers, suppliers, and 3PLs for favorable terms.
- Implement and leverage WMS/TMS for visibility and efficiency.
- Analyze supply chain metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor and manage a remote high-performance team.
