Job summary

GreenSlate, LLC. in Canada is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to manage payroll processing end-to-end for film and television clients.

You will review timecards, enter start documents, compile payroll reports and invoices, and coordinate payroll releases with accuracy and strong client service. This remote role supports non-union and union payroll under tight deadlines in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in payroll or production accounting.
• Knowledge of entertainment union contracts is a plus.
• Experience in film and TV industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing with a high level of service for clients.
• Support non-union and some union payroll clients.
• Data entry of timecards and onboarding data for payroll.
• Review timecards to ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and union regulations; follow up on discrepancies.
• Compile and review payroll reports and invoices for client review and approval.
• Coordinate payroll releases, including check printing and accounting imports.
