Job summary

Apollo Applied Research is a Canada-based, remote medical clinic providing medical cannabis treatment education and assessments. We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support patient intake, triage, and appointment booking, ensuring a clinically appropriate and patient-centered experience across digital platforms.

You will handle inbound and outbound communications, gather patient history, and provide best-practice education on treatment plans while maintaining compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient intake or care coordination in healthcare.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French is a plus.
• Ability to manage scheduling and patient history effectively.
• Comfort with digital platforms and telehealth tools.

Responsibilities

• Support patient intake and triage to ensure a compliant, patient-centered experience.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments and manage provider availability.
• Engage with patients via calls and emails to address questions and ensure continuity of care.
• Document interactions accurately in EMR systems and track follow-ups.
• Educate patients on treatment options and cannabis use per clinical guidelines.
