Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Parts Supervisor to efficiently manage a central warehouse, ensuring a clean, safe, and secure operation. You will oversee daily stock movements, manage inventories, and lead a team to meet department demands.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in supervision, a strong understanding of logistics, and a commitment to safety. Rotational work at a remote site is expected, with a competitive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• College Diploma in Business with 5–7 years of experience and at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong inventory management skills.
• Highly organized, detail oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety best practices.
• Knowledge of Transportation and Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control day-to-day operations of the central warehouse.
• Conduct regular inspections of lift trucks and delivery vehicles and ensure maintenance.
• Plan for and build business cases for capital expenditures.
• Plan, hire and assign resources to meet parts department demands.
• Address internal and external customer concerns and resolve problems.
• Assist in day-to-day operations (picking, packing, shipping, receiving).

Job description

The Parts Supervisor will effectively manage all central warehouse functions on a daily basis to operate a clean, efficient, safe and secure parts warehouse.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$59.025.00 to $73,782.50

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

Note: This position will be rotational as it is working at a remote site.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Monitors and control day-to-day operations, incoming and outgoing stock order process and annual inventory counts
• Conduct regular inspections for all lift trucks and parts delivery vehicles and ensure they are properly maintained
• Plan for and/or build business case for capital expenditures
• Plan, hire and assign resources to meet demands of the parts department
• Address concerns of internal and external customers and resolves problems effectively
• Assist in day-to-day operations when necessary (picking, packing, shipping, receiving)

Must-haves for this role:

• College Diploma in Business combined with 5 – 7 years’ experience with a minimum 3 years’ supervisor experience
• Strong inventory management skills
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to thrive in a fast paced, changing environment
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License and good driving record
