Lightspeed Commerce in Montreal is seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative to join our North American team. You will generate and qualify leads for SMB and mid-market retail clients, acting as the first point of contact and helping retailers grow.

You will collaborate with Account Executives, prospect via phone, email, social media, and other channels, and contribute to a fast-growing, results-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales or customer facing experience.
• Strong understanding of the sales cycle.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain complex solutions to multiple stakeholders.
• Tech-savvy and able to navigate sales accounts.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and bias toward action.

Responsibilities

• Proactively prospecting SMB and mid-market retail accounts via phone, email, social media, and other outbound channels.
• Reaching out to different stakeholders to understand their challenges and build relationships.
• Collaborating with Account Executives to ensure smooth lead handoff and strategic follow-up.
• Providing feedback to marketing and sales teams to refine outbound strategies.
• Consistently achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual outbound sales goals in a high-velocity environment.
