Job summary

Interior Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Virtual Care team across the Interior Health region. This Term Specific Part-Time (0.40 FTE) role offers patient-centred primary care through innovative virtual delivery, while allowing remote work and collaboration with clinical teams.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) required.
Current Nurse Practitioner certification with BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
Experience in primary care or virtual care settings is an asset.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat undifferentiated diseases and conditions within NP scope.
Monitor ongoing care, order diagnostics, and develop tailored treatment plans.
Prescribe medications within legal NP guidelines and safety standards.
Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to plan care and discharge as needed.
Lead education and mentorship to support clinical staff and continuous learning.
