Job summary

Interior Health in Kamloops, BC is hiring a Term Specific Full Time Nurse Practitioner at the Kamloops Primary Care Centre.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will perform comprehensive assessments, order tests, prescribe medications, and develop individualized care plans to improve health outcomes.

Shifts are Monday to Thursday, 0800–1800, with weekends off; on-call may be required. The position ends 2028-06-01 or upon return of incumbent; salary range is $76.61–$84.27 per hour.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or equivalent.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
• Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting to diagnose, treat, and manage patient care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat undifferentiated diseases and conditions; prescribe medications according to scope.
• Conduct comprehensive care management and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals for patient care decisions.
