Job summary

Waste Solutions Canada, a leading waste management provider, seeks a National Accounts Manager. The role is remote with travel, based in Montréal and overseeing national/multi-site accounts across provinces.

You will build relationships with corporate stakeholders and site leadership to ensure service delivery and strategic oversight. The position requires bilingual English/French communication, strong negotiation and CRM/Office skills, and a track record in managing large accounts.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in waste management is an asset.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.
• Experience managing national accounts or large multi-site clients is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
• Experience with CRM platforms considered an asset.
• Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate in both French and English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Act as main contact for key accounts.
• Handle client issues quickly and keep satisfaction high.
• Identify opportunities to grow services with existing clients.
• Support onboarding of new locations/accounts.
• Help meet sales and revenue targets.
• Regularly check in with clients on needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (finance, ops, sustainability).
• Support planning and client solutions.
• Assist with contract negotiation and management.
• Resolve day-to-day service issues.
• Coordinate with teams to keep operations smooth.
• Travel as needed (Ottawa & Quebec).
