Job summary

Coeur Mining, Inc., a US-based precious metals producer, is seeking an HR Generalist at the Silvertip operation in Vancouver, BC on a remote, two-week rotation schedule. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will deliver a broad range of HR services across the employee lifecycle.

You will lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, workforce planning and compliance, partnering with site leaders to enable safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
• CPHR designation or working toward designation is an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist capacity, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, attendance management, disability management, accommodation, and HR policies.
• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for hourly, salaried and professional roles; onboarding and pre-employment requirements.
• Administer employee benefit programs and liaise with providers; support workforce planning and HR compliance.
• Develop workplace practices to position Coeur as an employer of choice and ensure adherence to employment laws.
