Job summary

ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services is hiring a General Maintenance Worker for a brand-new remote lodge opening near Chapleau, Ontario, with a late-November start. You will perform furnace, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, kitchen equipment and sewage system maintenance in a remote camp while adhering to safety standards.

The role features a 14 days on/14 days off rotation, 10–12 hour shifts, comprehensive benefits, on-site meals and accommodations, and footwear allowance.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing is required.
• Criminal background check required.
• Remote Camp experience is mandatory.
• WHMIS certification is mandatory; First Aid is an asset.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to travel and work long rotations away from home.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as a core value and participate in safety meetings and emergency procedures.
• General maintenance including furnace, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, kitchen equipment and sewage systems.
