Job summary

BMO Financial Group is hiring for a Lending Operations role focused on day-to-day loan administration and servicing. The position supports payments, transactions, and service requests within SLAs and involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and bilingual proficiency in French and English.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the business unit’s key products and services, processes and controls.
• Knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business.
• Prioritization skills – good.
• PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – in-depth.
• Verbal & written communication skills – in-depth.
• Collaboration & team skills – in-depth.
• Analytical and problem solving skills – in-depth.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day delivery of lending operations processes including loan administration and servicing.
• Support execution of payments, transactions, service requests and stakeholder inquiries within SLAs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote efficient processes and reporting; build positive relationships.
• Respond to standard and non-standard inquiries from internal partners and external customers.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies; escalate non-routine issues as needed.
• Contribute to planning, testing and implementation of continuous improvement projects.
• Attend Montréal office twice per month and may call clients for complex cases or escalations.
• Maintain documentation and training tools; ensure accurate processing of service requests and transactions.
