Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking a customer-focused professional to understand needs and provide credit and lending-related sales and service to BMO customers or prospects. You will advise on borrowing strategies, fulfill sales activities, and refer to other teams as needed while maintaining compliance and confidentiality.

The role supports both English and French speaking clients, with remote/telework options and a salary-based compensation structure.

Qualifications

• Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of personal lending and home financing products.
• Knowledge of contact centre processes and policies.
• Knowledge of call centre technology, processes, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and provide credit and lending-related sales and service to BMO customers or prospects.
• Advise customers on borrowing strategies and products that meet their objectives.
• Fulfills sales and service activities in accordance with procedures; identifies referrals to other groups.
• Handles customer contacts professionally and escalates complex issues as required.
