Job summary

Kingston Health Sciences Centre is seeking a Learning, Engagement and Development Specialist to design, implement, and maintain regional training programs. You will develop role-based training content across multiple platforms, including Articulate, Udemy, and Canva, while ensuring alignment with workflows and policies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch learning initiatives, maintain materials, and support regional projects.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or higher in IT, business, or adult education, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
CTDP (Certified Training and Development Professional), preferred
3+ years of training experience
Knowledge and understanding of clinical/ancillary workflows as well as policy and procedures is beneficial
Experience with learning management systems and instructional design software (Articulate 360 or Captivate preferred)
Ability to develop and deliver formal presentations to large groups

Responsibilities

Develops, evaluates, and maintains regional learning and development materials.
Designs, builds, and maintains electronic learning platforms and content repositories.
Supports regional communications and survey development for internal and external audiences.
Provides Train-the-Trainer and education institution training support.
Gathers feedback to continuously improve training materials and programs.
Liaises with Oracle Health to understand learning requirements for new workflows and upgrades.
