Job summary

FIRST NATIONS LAND MANAGEMENT RESOURCE CENTRE is seeking an IT Support Services Officer to deliver frontline IT support across Canada-based operations. The role covers hardware/software troubleshooting, asset management, and website maintenance, with travel as needed and a home-office work setup.

Requirements include a university degree in IT/CS and at least two years of IT support experience, plus knowledge of Microsoft apps, SharePoint, and IT management trends.

Qualifications

• A university degree or post-secondary education in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of IT support services experience.
• Knowledge of current IT products and IT management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for technical assistance from RC staff regarding computer systems, software and IT equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Oversee equipment orders, delivery and setup for new employees.
• Ensure protection and backups of critical email and data.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, software and licenses.
• Maintenance of the RC website.
• Conduct orientation/training on new programs/software.
• Provide IT support at RC events as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
