Rockwell Automation is seeking an Industry Account Manager in Canada to develop and execute sales strategies that grow market share and meet annual goals. You will become the trusted advisor across manufacturing customers, translating their needs into solutions that leverage our software, services, and automation platforms.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Become the expert your customers need. Understand their industry, applications, standards/regulations, and how things get done; identify goals and how our offerings will help them achieve those goals.
• Manage the strategy for growing your accounts and coordinate with your extended team to support your plans.
• Develop into a trusted advisor by understanding customer processes and organization to offer application knowledge and guidance on projects.
• Influence decisions by qualifying opportunities, engaging resources, and coordinating solution design and presentation so customers choose our solutions.
• Collaborate with Industry Managers, broader account team, senior management, and technical experts to plan for and win opportunities.
• Look ahead using Dynamics CRM to maintain accurate assessments of targets and opportunities in the funnel.
• Negotiate with Contracts and Negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, discounts, and approvals.
