Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Industry Account Manager to develop sales strategies and grow market share across Canada. The role is remote and full-time, with up to 40% travel and responsibilities to act as an expert and trusted advisor to clients in industrial automation, food & beverage, and agriculture sectors.

The position targets senior-level engagements and requires strong knowledge of our products, information software, and solutions, with compensation tied to total target pay in CAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 5 years' experience in industrial automation.
• 5 years' experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or an engineering firm.
• Experience selling to food & beverage and agriculture accounts.
• Willingness to travel 40% of time.
• Sell at senior management & executive levels with tangible economic value.
• Industrial software experience.

Responsibilities

• Become the expert your customers need and understand their industry, regulators, goals, and how our offerings help them.
• Manage account growth strategy and coordinate with extended team.
• Develop into a trusted advisor with process knowledge and guidance on projects.
• Influence decisions by qualifying opportunities and coordinating design/presentation.
• Collaborate with account team, senior management and domain experts to win opportunities.
• Maintain targets and opportunities in the Dynamics CRM funnel.
