Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Remote HSE Advisor to support Oil & Gas operations from Canada. This role focuses on health, safety and environmental compliance across project sites, with remote work from Kimberley or any location.

You will conduct risk assessments, develop controls, support incidents investigations, and help implement HSE procedures and training, while communicating effectively with project teams and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE professional, ideally within Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.
• Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and support on HSE matters to project teams and management.
• Conduct virtual risk assessments and develop appropriate control measures.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HSE procedures and training materials.
• Monitor HSE performance metrics and prepare regular reports for review.
• Support incident investigation processes and ensure follow-up actions are completed effectively.
