Job summary

Blacksmith Agency seeks a Digital Marketing Strategist to own strategy, performance and client-facing leadership across paid search, paid social, SEO and CRO. This is a hybrid strategic and operational senior role with exposure to sales calls and managing internal and external specialists.

You will build growth roadmaps, oversee campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, Bing and organic search, and present performance summaries to clients, driving measurable outcomes and continual improvement.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in PPC, SEO, or multi-channel strategy.
• Experience running paid and organic channels concurrently.
• Proficiency with Google Ads, GA4, and Search Console.
• Ability to present strategic recommendations to clients.
• Experience leading execution teams and ensuring quality.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose performance quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for PPC and SEO clients across industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and recommendations.
• Develop 90-day, 6-month and annual growth roadmaps for each client.
• Own client performance across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and organic search.
• Audit campaigns, keyword strategies, bidding structures, landing pages and CRO opportunities.
• Oversee technical SEO, on-page SEO, link building, programmatic pages and AI-driven content.
• Own KPI tracking, conversion attribution and analytics accuracy.
• Give weekly direction and QA, coordinating with the marketing project manager.
• Present monthly and quarterly performance summaries to clients.
