Job summary

30 Birds Foundation Canada is seeking a Grant & Funding Development Specialist to lead our institutional funding pipeline. You will research, craft, and manage grant proposals, lead grant reporting cycles, and build highly aligned sponsorship packages to empower our Executive Director to secure transformative funding.

This is a 100% remote, Canada-wide role focused on strategy, storytelling, and collaboration with leadership and program staff.

Qualifications

Proven grant writing experience in the nonprofit sector.
Experience coordinating and drafting grant reporting deliverables.
Strategic funder research skills and alignment assessment.
Ability to translate program outcomes and budgets into clear narratives.
Collaborative mindset; partner with leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

Grant Lead Research: identify and pursue grant opportunities that align with our mission.
Grant Proposal Development: manage end-to-end writing, editing, and submission.
Grant Reporting & Stewardship: track impact reporting with cross-functional input.
Funding Pipeline Management: maintain a 6–12 month funding calendar.
Sponsorship Preparation: develop pitch materials and executive briefings.
Funder Engagement Support: gather feedback to refine messaging.
CRM Development and Management: build/maintain donor tracking system.
