Job summary

Push Operations is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join a remote-first team serving Canada. You will design and implement features across the stack, from frontend React/React Native to PHP backends and microservices, ensuring performance, security, and scalable architectures.

You will collaborate with design and product teams, contribute to modernization, and tackle production issues while shipping new capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Hands-on execution focus; architecture ownership possible with growth.
• Proficiency with PHP or a related backend framework (Laravel, Symfony, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience integrating frontends and mobile apps with back-end APIs.
• Familiarity with mobile deployment challenges and push notifications.
• Solid testing (unit, integration, E2E) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Proficiency with modern AI-driven tools such as Claude Code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features across the full stack built using a variety of languages and technologies.
• Front-end: React/React Native web and mobile applications.
• Back-end: PHP (and related frameworks), Node.js, RESTful APIs, microservices.
• Data: database schemas, integrations, and optimization.
• Level up existing systems by contributing to modernization efforts.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues while balancing feature delivery.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to turn requirements into user-friendly solutions.
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability across systems.
• Build mobile experiences with React Native and integrate with backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code; participate in code reviews.
