Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join its Product Development Team. You will work across the stack to build scalable systems and collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver robust, user-focused features.

This newly created role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, test-driven development, and ownership from design to production. Remote-first, based in Toronto, with a strong emphasis on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years across both back and frontend of SaaS products.
• Experience with Javascript and frameworks such as React.
• Experience designing unit and integration tests (pytest, jest, etc.).
• Experience working with large data sets and monitoring logs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Strong collaboration with engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Write maintainable, performant code for features delivering product value.
• Maintain high test coverage to ensure a stable product experience.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and scalable design decisions.
• Document features clearly to support future development.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and product teams to meet business goals.
• Own features from design through production deployment and support.
• Ensure reliability and correctness of shipped code.
