Job summary

Axya is seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to design, build, and ship features across its web app and backend services for enterprise manufacturing clients.

You will own features end-to-end, write clean code, and collaborate with product, design, and other engineers in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. 5+ years of experience and strong English communication are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a full stack developer in SaaS/B2B environments.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Solid backend development experience (Node.js, Python, or similar) and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and writing efficient queries.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
• Excellent written and spoken English; French is a plus for Montreal-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack features across the Axya platform, from database to UI.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code; participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to system design decisions and evolve the architecture as we scale.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues, bugs, and incidents in production.
• Work cross-functionally with Customer Success and Sales to understand client needs.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering excellence.
• Participate in sprint planning and continuous improvement of development practices.
