Qualifications

• Min 2 years of experience operating logging or heavy forestry equipment.
• Ability to work long days and perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Clearwater area.
• Comfortable around specialized machinery and routine checks.
• Strong situational awareness and commitment to safety in rugged terrain.
• Willingness to work in a remote crew with limited services nearby.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forestry equipment to harvest and move timber in remote terrain.
• Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and checks on machines.
• Navigate steep slopes and difficult terrain while maintaining targets.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental guidelines.
• Work in all weather conditions; communicate with crew.
• Record issues, work completed and safety concerns.
• Support loading, sorting, and site cleanup as needed.
