Job summary

Metrix, a Toronto-based agency, seeks a Medical Writer & Project Lead to drive client-facing initiatives in learning and development and healthcare marketing. You’ll lead projects, write and edit scientific content, manage timelines and budgets, and partner with senior client contacts to achieve objectives.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in medical communications, strong project management, and a background in healthcare consulting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the life sciences is required.
• 3–5 years in a medical communications or medical marketing agency; experience coaching and managing people.
• Expertise and experience in project and client management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
• Experience collaborating in high-performance teams under demanding deadlines.
• Demonstrated skills in Design Thinking and critical thinking.
• Experience working with or consulting to large or complex organizations.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity with problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients and build relationships, identifying learning and development needs.
• Lead project teams, meetings, timelines, and budgets.
• Design and develop client learning solutions and ensure regulatory standards.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and collaboration across the team and with clients.
