Job summary

Prime is seeking a Medical Writer to develop high-quality medical communications across abstracts, posters, manuscripts, slide decks and presentations. You will work with the scientific team to ensure accuracy, client objectives, and regulatory compliance while building expertise in therapeutic areas.

You will also manage tasks and deadlines, support budgets, and liaise with clients and thought leaders to ensure smooth project execution in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• Life sciences degree, ideally with a science master's or PhD.
• 1+ year of experience writing for pharmaceutical clients in an agency setting.
• Strong and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Proactive approach to sharing updates with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel) and Adobe

Responsibilities

• Prepare copy for a broad range of medical communication projects meeting grammar, scientific accuracy and client objectives.
• Deliverables will include abstracts, scientific posters, manuscripts, slide decks, and medical affairs deliverables.
• Be proactive in ensuring delivery of assigned work within budget and deadlines.
• Liaise confidently with clients and external thought leaders for smooth project flow.
• Interpret and incorporate review comments ensuring consistency, scientific accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain awareness of therapeutic areas, competitors and new data.
• Record and monitor actual versus budgeted time on projects and submit timesheets weekly.
• Keep abreast of industry self-regulation and client SOPs
