Job summary

Red Nucleus in Toronto is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join our Medical Publications team. The role blends on-site collaboration with the flexibility of remote work for the right candidate.

Based in Liberty Village, this hybrid position requires strong writing, editing, and project coordination across preclinical and clinical deliverables, with AMA style expertise and a collaborative, client-facing approach.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD in life sciences or PharmD required.
• 4 years of experience writing peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, posters, and slide decks in an agency setting.
• Ability to independently write and edit scientific manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and training materials.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in a virtual setting.
• Outstanding organizational/time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Researching, writing, and editing manuscripts, abstracts, slide presentations, posters, and other deliverables.
• Collaborate on client projects that are highly visible and related to pharmaceutical products and technologies.
• Ensure delivery by deadlines and maintain project development flow.
• Work effectively in a team environment (onsite and remote).
• Review study data and distill into well-written deliverables.
