Job summary

K-Recruiting Life Sciences is seeking a senior Medical Copywriter to develop promotional content for pharmaceutical brands, addressing both HCP and patient audiences. You will ensure PAAB compliance, translate complex science into accessible messaging, and coordinate with Medical, Legal and Regulatory teams.

The role is Ontario-based with a hybrid schedule. You will collaborate with Brand Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, Creative and UX teams, support omnichannel campaigns, and optimize

• Development of promotional medical content for pharmaceutical and healthcare communications
• Creation of content for HCP and patient audiences across digital and traditional channels
• Development of copy for websites, eDetailing, email campaigns, social media, brochures, videos and sales materials
• Translation of complex clinical and scientific information into clear, engaging and audience-specific messaging
• Support of omnichannel campaigns and digital customer journeys
• Collaboration with Brand Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, Creative, UX and Digital teams
• Ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance with pharmaceutical and regulatory requirements
• Collaboration with Medical, Legal & Regulatory teams throughout review and approval processes
• Development of promotional content in line with PAAB requirements, including appropriate claims and scientific references
• Continuous review and optimization of content based on new evidence, guidelines and performance insights

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Medical Copywriting, Healthcare Communications or Pharmaceutical Marketing
• Extensive experience with promotional medical content for HCP and patient audiences
• Strong hands-on experience with PAAB and in-depth knowledge of PAAB requirements
• Experience with MLR review and approval processes
• Strong understanding of clinical research, scientific literature and evidence-based communication
• Experience with omnichannel and digital pharmaceutical campaigns
• Knowledge of SEO, UX writing and digital content formats
• Experience with Veeva, Salesforce, CMS or similar platforms is an advantage
• Experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical market; US/EU market experience is a plus
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and organizational skills
