Job summary

CCS is seeking a Communication Specialist to act as the voice of the organization across blogs, pitches, releases, brochures, and social content. You will develop written collateral that resonates with Canadians, collaborate with the Marketing & Community Engagement team, and support the overall awareness strategy.

The role emphasizes strong writing, media relations, and social media savvy, with a hybrid work setup and a starting salary range of $60,840–$68,848 CAD.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years in personal finance or credit industry is required.
• 2–3 years in communications, writing, or journalism.
• Experience in media relations is an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Well-organized and self-motivated; able to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with social platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram).

Responsibilities

• Craft compelling written collateral: blog articles, media pitches, press releases, brochures, presentations.
• Write video scripts and social media posts to support marketing and awareness strategy.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Community Engagement team to increase awareness and engagement.
