Job summary

Jobgether in Canada seeks a remote Family Law Paralegal to support a U.S. law firm handling divorce, custody, and related matters. You will draft pleadings, manage case files, and coordinate hearings.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a paralegal or attorney, at least 2 years in U.S. family law, strong drafting, and experience with case management software and e-filing.

This long-term remote role requires reliable internet and availability during U.S. business hours; compensation is $14 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a paralegal, lawyer, or attorney.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a family law paralegal for a U.S. law firm.
• Strong drafting and research skills for family law pleadings and motions.
• Experience with case management software and electronic court filing systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, petitions, notices, discovery requests/responses, and legal correspondence.
• Prepare financial affidavits, disclosures, asset/liability schedules, and supporting docs.
• Organize, review, and prepare documents for discovery and production.
• Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Maintain digital case files and ensure confidentiality.
