We are on the hunt for a dynamic and detail-oriented Family Legal Assistant to join our lively team. If you have a knack for organizing chaos, a passion for family law, and a sense of humor that can lighten even the toughest cases, we want you!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist our family lawyers with case preparation, research, and trial support.
  2. Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
  3. Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings with precision and flair.
  4. Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties to schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
  5. Conduct preliminary legal research and compile relevant information for case preparation.
  6. Answer phone calls and emails with professionalism and a touch of personality.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience as a family law legal assistant or paralegal is required.
  2. Strong understanding of family law and legal procedures including filing procedures.
  3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Proficient in legal research and case management software.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Must be located in Canada.
  7. Must possess Canadian work authorization.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a fun-loving team.
  9. A sense of humor and a positive attitude!
