Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote Automotive Software Engineer to join its product development team. This fully remote role lets you design, develop, and test embedded software for vehicle control systems, infotainment, and ADAS from anywhere.

You will collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects, write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and help ensure software quality across the SDLC in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience, preferably in automotive.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and RTOS; knowledge of CAN/LIN/Ethernet.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement embedded software for automotive ECUs using C/C++.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects to define software requirements.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests to ensure quality.
• Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot software issues.
