Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Automotive Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain vehicle communication networks. The role focuses on ensuring secure data flow between ECUs using automotive protocols, enabling features such as autonomous driving and V2X communications.

You will design architectures, troubleshoot in-vehicle networks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networks into vehicle platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, CS, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer in automotive networking.
  • Deep understanding of automotive protocols and standards.
  • Proficiency with network simulation and analysis tools.
  • Experience with embedded systems and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and remote teamwork skills.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented Remote Automotive Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the complex communication networks within their vehicles. Working remotely, you will focus on ensuring seamless and secure data flow between various electronic control units (ECUs) and systems using industry-standard automotive protocols. This role is essential for enabling advanced features like autonomous driving, infotainment, and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication. You will be a key contributor to the development of connected and intelligent vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and specify automotive network architectures, including CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and FlexRay.
