Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain software for Android Automotive and embedded vehicle platforms.
• Develop Android platform services, system applications, and framework components using C++, Java, and Kotlin.
• Customize, integrate, and maintain functionality within the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
• Develop and troubleshoot Automotive HAL components and Stable AIDL interfaces.
• Support infotainment, digital cockpit, and connected vehicle software initiatives.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve software stability, memory, concurrency, and performance issues.

Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer II with experience in Android Automotive, AOSP, embedded systems, and modern C++ development to support the development of next-generation vehicle software platforms.

This role will focus on building and enhancing Android Automotive infotainment systems, digital cockpit applications, and embedded vehicle software, while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality automotive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain software for Android Automotive and embedded vehicle platforms
• Develop Android platform services, system applications, and framework components using C++, Java, and Kotlin

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with Android build systems including Android.bp (Soong) and Android.mk.
• Experience developing software for embedded automotive, infotainment, digital cockpit, or vehicle systems.
