Job summary

Canadian Food Innovation Network (CFIN) seeks an Email Specialist on a 6-month contract ending March 31, 2027, with potential extension. Remote role working with Communications, Programs and other teams to deliver timely email communications supporting Canada’s food innovation mission.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in email marketing and strong Zoho tool experience, with a focus on templates, automation, and data integrity across Canada.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in email marketing, marketing automation, or CRM communications.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Campaigns, Zoho CRM, or related Zoho tools.
• Experience with Marketo or Eloqua, Salesforce, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Experience designing email templates and working in campaign platforms.
• Knowledge of CASL compliance and audience targeting.
• Strong writing, organization, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and email QA experience are assets.
• Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support creation, formatting, testing, and deployment of email campaigns and automated communications.
• Design on-brand, responsive email templates for multiple segments.
• Develop templated email copy using AI tools and approved emails.
• Build and maintain Zoho automation workflows and triggered sends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and align with priorities.
• Maintain clean lists, segmentation, and quality control across sends.
• Monitor campaign performance and assist with reporting and basic analysis.
• Improve email processes and workflow efficiency over time.
