Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Dispute Resolution Paralegal to join a remote-first legal team. You will support attorneys managing disputes, arbitrations, and mediations from a virtual environment, handling case management, research, and document preparation with precision.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a paralegal, with a strong focus on dispute resolution or litigation.
• Solid understanding of South African legal procedures and court rules.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in a virtual setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize all aspects of dispute resolution case files, including pleadings, evidence, and correspondence.
• Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, case law, and procedural rules related to disputes.
• Assist in preparing legal documents such as applications, responses, and settlement agreements.
