Job summary

Lerner Lawyers seeks an experienced Law Clerk for an 18-month contract to support a busy litigation team. The role involves managing files, drafting documents, and coordinating with eDiscovery and Relativity teams in a hybrid office setting.

Candidates should have eight years of L.C. experience, a Law Clerk Diploma, and strong organizational and communication skills to handle guardianship and complex commercial matters with discretion and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum eight (8) years as a Law Clerk, preferably in litigation.
• Experience with restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency litigation is an asset.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage client files through their lifecycle, following firm protocols.
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, and court documents accurately.
• Coordinate with Relativity, ACL and eDiscovery teams for document handling.
• Summarize transcripts and prepare responses to undertakings.
• Support trial prep and assist with costs outlines and bills.
