Placements24 is seeking a proactive Digital Marketing Coordinator to join their fully remote team, supporting clients across South Africa from Canada. The role covers social media management, email marketing, content creation, and campaign support to boost brand awareness and engagement for ecommerce platforms.

You will collaborate with the marketing team to plan campaigns, create engaging content, analyze performance, and stay current with digital marketing trends in a fast-paced remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles including SEO/SEM, social media, and email marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency with social platforms and basic content creation tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across channels: email, social, and paid ads.
• Create and schedule engaging content for social media to maintain brand consistency and timely posting.
• Support email marketing campaigns: list segmentation, content creation, performance tracking.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities for new initiatives.
• Monitor and report campaign performance and gather data for analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with business objectives.
